Joy is the third child of A-Ree laundry’s family. She is currently 26 years old graduated in Bachelor of computer engineering at an university situated in the urban area of Songkla province. She is still single because she has to do laundry service in her university all day.

Joy prefers personal business with no need to be any person’s employee. Formerly, she used to work as an employee or a teacher. However, with her personality who hates to be under other people’s control, she decided to resign. Subsequently, she won in laundry service action of Prince of Songkla University and she really loves this occupation. Joy is diligent and endure as equal as her elder sister, Lek.  She used to earn 8000 baht/month as she was a teacher. Now, she can earn 45, 000 baht/month with her own business.

Joy prefers seeking new things for her life and she also loves to experiment new things to learn new kinds of business with low cost as opportunities of herself. Currently, Joy is operating business regarding telephone network that can earn extra money in the amount of 10, 000 baht without any effect on her laundry business in university. Joy still considers telephone network business as a part-time job and laundry as her routine work.

Joy’s work schedule is not different from Lek’s. Since she has to perform laundry business in the university alone, she has to get up at 4 a.m. and finish all works at 11 p.m. Currently, she still works like that every day and also find some free times to expand her business. She expects to make her mother, Mrs. A-Ree, stop working and takes some relaxation like other people in this age without any worry about her established business. Joy always realizes that family laundry business is never operated without the leader who is also the business owner.

Joy expects to find one man with responsibility, adult state and sufficient capital to continue her mother’s business. It is also the same dream of other women. However, she has to walk out of her dream because she has to work hard every day, even when she is sick, to provide soft, clean and scented clothes for her customers in the university.

A-Ree Laundry Service Shop’s works is divided into two fields including laundry of customers in hotels and university. Lek is the main operator of hotel’s laundry and Joy is responsible for university’s laundry. They have to work by their own because there is no employee can stand with this work. It is to be accepted that laundry service is needed to exert both physical and mental efforts. The owners have to be stable with their works for continuing their business consecutively.   

A-Ree laundry’s family is never discouraged with our works and duties. Both Joy and Lek still perform their own works intentionally with the hope to make their mother wealthy and healthy. However, they are still on the ground with some hopes to get cooperation from some businessmen with laundry service mind to invest in their business and life in Hat Yai, Songkla.
